**Manufacturability** Technical Leader

Our Innovation Engineering develops leading edge technologies to enhance the competitiveness of our products and to support the new products introduction.

The Manufacturability Staff, within the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Organization, is accountable for all manufacturability and feasibility assessments and industrialization on all main New Products Development programs inside Industrial & Energy Technology organization.

We are responsible for assuring Technology Injection on new and existing products, linking Supply Chain capabilities with Design requirements.

As Manufacturability Technical Leader you will assess the manufacturability and assure the producibility of all the critical components of the new products in accordance with program schedule as well as costs, quality, reliability, and performance requirements, covering a bridging role between Engineering and Supply Chain functions.

You will look at the product from a systemic perspective taking care of influencing design decisions considering all the producibility aspects and cost competitiveness.

You will support the new technology transition towards the supply chain, and you will lead the industrialization of newly launched products.

**As Manufacturability Technical Leader you will be responsible for**:

- Translating product requirements into producibility features supporting the assessment on technology selection, material selection and manufacturing capabilities orienting technical choices, taking advantage of the support of Innovation Labs

- Assessing the manufacturability of new products looking at the production process from a systemic perspective, defining the manufacturing process sequence leveraging on the support of technology experts

- Approving preliminary designs or recommending modifications based on knowledge of main conventional and non-conventional manufacturing technologies and their related capabilities

- Supporting the Lab personnel in the execution of all the laboratory operations related to the production of prototypes and/or mock-ups needed to validate systems, sub-systems and/or components

- Driving the execution of Industrialization activities acting as reference point for the Innovation Engineering Organization impacting productivity, costs, quality, reliability and performance of all new products

- Leading the Manufacturability Reviews according to product development plan and issuing the Manufacturability Report

- Working in a matrix environment covering a bridging role between functions (Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, Procurement) leveraging on cooperation, communication and sharing

**To be successful in this role you will need to have**:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering

- At least 5 years of work experience in an Engineering or Supply Chain role in an Industrial Environment with specific experience in Systems Engineering, Product Engineering and/or Manufacturing

- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies typically used in in turbomachinery production

- Prior experience with specific focus on managing complex technical projects

- Proven ability in coordinating multifunctional teams

- Problem-solving attitude to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions

- Strong leadership, positive attitude, great interpersonal capabilities, empathy, influencing abilities, excellent presentation skills and decision-making attitude and passion for technology

- Full professional proficiency in English and Italian and proven working experience in a global environment

- EU Work Permit
