We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and implement manufacturing processes to achieve production of complex aircraft engine components.

You will collaborate with your colleagues to create processes that meet drawing requirements, have high throughput, minimize deviation/scrap risk, and meet target rates of production required.

Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesDesign and validate the production router and documentation, based on company procedures and customer requirementsProvide manufacturing method development and improvement for current and new productsApply design-for-manufacturing principles, working with a cross-functional team to ensure lean capability and a stable processWork with manufacturing engineering colleagues and shop floor personnel to validate processes, tools and equipmentDesign and validate devices, tools and equipment for the manufacturing and development of new productsCoordinate with outside vendors, who may be contracted to build manufacturing equipment and/or outdoor processing operationsPursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reduction in designated areasAssist supervisors and production workers in resolving manufacturing process issues through root cause analysis and permanent corrective actionsResponsible for achieving all aspects of manufacturing operations, including safety, quality, initial yield and productivityQualifications/RequirementsMaster's Degree in EngineeringGood knowledge in interpreting technical drawings/specifications and manufacturing processesFluent English and ItalianWork visa in accordance with local regulations is requiredDesired CharacteristicsLean manufacturing trainingGood knowledge of casting technologiesGood knowledge of the CAD (Computer Aided Design) systemBehaviors of humility, transparency and concentrationInclusivity and ability to work effectively in a teamHigh interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to make data-driven decisions, cause-effect analysis and use Six Sigma and Lean toolsWhat We OfferSmart Working and Work Life-Balance Avio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
