Manufacturing Engineer - Aeronautical
Our Customer is a prestigious and structured Multinational Company, operating in the sector of design, production, maintenance, and marketing of complex components and systems for the Aeronautical field. In order to increase its staff in the Manufacturing Engineering Department, it has entrusted us with the selection of the Manufacturing Engineer – Aeronautical. The Resource is responsible for all the technical housing support activities needed to industrialize aeronautic program components realized by the customer and customer partners facilities and to facilitate communication with Headquarter. The candidate will be located in the customer premises in South Korea for an extended period, then return to Italy and will be able to continue his professional career within the Corporate Group, at the site in the province of Turin. Responsibilities Support customer during concurrent engineering activities with the design engineers. Facilitate the information exchanges between Customer/Partners and Headquarter. Guide the Buyer and KIP's engineers and technicians in fully comprehending the drawings, the substantiation requirements, the design intent and in developing the Buyer and KIP's workshare manufacturing process. Help in definition of macro sequence, tooling and equipment during industrialization phases. Suggest solutions, and others as applicable. Requirements Master's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or High School Technical Diploma with relevant work experience. Good knowledge of housing manufacturing processes and tooling/fixture definition, in Aeronautic sector is preferred and in mechanical processing, knowledge of cast iron/aluminium processing and casting. Expertise in metrology principles applied to geometrical tolerances. Experience in similar roles. Knowledge of aerospace substantiation requirements. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications. Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions. Ability to manage activities simultaneously. Strong organizational skills. Italian fluent and good English level. Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required. Location: South Korea/Italy (Turin) J-18808-Ljbffr
