Manufacturing IT Specialist (m/f) Bayer HealthCare Manufacturing is looking for a brilliant and smart Manufacturing IT Specialist.

He/she will support all shopfloor processes and applications related to MIT / Operational Technology (OT) / Industrial Control Systems used in Production, Laboratories, Warehouse and Site Services at the pharmaceutical Supply Center of Garbagnate; fulfilling the requirements arising from digitalization, automation, cyber security and GxP data integrity.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage Service Operations at application and shopfloor level, for MIT / OT / Industrial Control Systems and production.

Act as system owner for the assigned applications.

Ensure operational delivery of services, according to agreed service levels, in terms of availability, capacity, efficiency, GxP compliance, integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibility for operational steering of Problem Management and Incident Management.

Act as Catalyst and Coach, engaging with people at all levels of the organization and working directly with internal Stakeholders for operational support, troubleshooting and Personnel training.

Collaborate with colleagues in Manufacturing IT Team (OT Managers, OT Security) in the implementation and execution of all routine activities and processes, developing and executing procedures.

Guide external Providers to execute processes in accordance with system availability and service level targets.

Support GxP-regulated processes as well as validation execution, Data Integrity evaluation, annual reviews.

Collaborate to update documentation, needed during the operational/improvement activities.

Support authority inspections conducted at Bayer by providing functional expertise.

WHO YOU ARE: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering or related fields and at least 3 years of experience in customer-facing position in IT or High School Diploma and at least 5 years of experience in customer-facing position in IT.

Excellent knowledge of networking fundamentals, operating systems (Microsoft and Linux) and IT Security principles.

Hands-on experience with OT Equipment, infrastructures, applications and operations is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of Automation topics (PLC's, SCADA's etc) is strongly preferred.

Pharmaceutical experience with knowledge of GxP regulations is strongly preferred.

Interest in process improvement and developing automated solutions.

Passion for service operations management, results and performance.

Communication skills and coaching attitude are necessary to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.

Ability to work in a team environment, problem-solving, decision-making, time management complete the profile.

Residence or domicile in Lombardy.

Fluent in English and Italian mother tongue.
