Manufacturing Productivity Finance Analyst
Job Description Summary**: The Manufacturing Productivity Finance Analyst role will provide critical finance leadership, analysis, support, expertise and reporting in the process to identify and execute on any product cost productivity/improvement efforts (short/long term), deepening the operational aspects of the business.
The role reports into the Supply Chain Financial Planning & Analysis & Product Cost Finance manager and will strictly interact and liaise, supporting the AvioAero Supply Chain, Margin Expansion team and GE Aviation HQ Global Supply Chain team.
The role will cover key aspects of product cost composition at Part Number level (Material, Farm-Out, Labor, Scrap) and includes direct involvement, engagement and responsibility over setting the appropriate analytics and operating rhythms to allow the organization to understand cost and deliver to financial commitments.
**Essential Responsibilities**:
- Support routines/procedures/reviews with relevant Global Supply Chain / Program Management's business owners
- Be the focal point for Operational teams and Site leaders for data visibility, tracking, analysis and reporting for Variable Cost Productivity results (Part Number details, product lines, actions, etc)
- Ensure proper level of analytics are established, maintained and spread across the organization through digital tools already implemented and further enhancements (Cost Biter, Spotfire, etc)
- Support monthly/quarterly process for relevant business reviews and key planning cycles for actuals, estimates and reporting (by plant, by product line, by program, by Part Number) and present results to company Senior Management
- Align AvioAero Part Number financial targets/commitments with GE Aviation;
- Support Margin Expansion team in developing new processes to strengthen/improve AvioAero margins with finance expertise
**Qualifications/Requirements**:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in economics from an accredited university or college
- Strong finance experience with progressive responsibility
- EU work permit
- Fluent written and spoken Italian and English
- Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure
- Self-confident, able to integrate and operate well in a matrix organization at all levels
**Desired Characteristics**:
- Strong industrial knowledge with key expertise in controllership accounting
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Digital know-how with Spotfire and other tools for analytics is a plus
