About the job Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Engineering Department, the Shift Technician is responsible for the maintenance of the hotel.

The Shift Technician reports to the department manager.

As Shift Technician, you will be responsible for the following duties: Work independently on required requests for guest rooms and on guest floors Carry out routine checking and maintenance work for the hotel Assist in updating work order status and recording in the computer accordingly Communicate with departments or other relevant parties regarding work status Hold a Certificate of First Aid and complete mandatory Security training As Shift Technician, we expect from you: Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience Specialization in Plumbing/Air Conditioning Engineering/Painting & Decoration will be an advantage Strong technical knowledge in property maintenance Good English and Italian communication skills Hotel or guest services work experience will be an advantage Effective communication skills with colleagues and clients Our commitment to you Learning & Development: Your success is our success.
