About the job Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Engineering Department, the Shift Technician is responsible for the maintenance of the hotel.

The Shift Technician reports to the department manager.

As Shift Technician, you will be responsible for the following duties: Work independently on required requests for guest rooms and on guest floorsCarry out routine checking and maintenance work for the hotelAssist in updating work order status and recording in the computer accordinglyCommunicate with departments or other relevant parties regarding work statusHold a Certificate of First Aid and complete mandatory Security trainingAs Shift Technician, we expect from you: Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experienceSpecialization in Plumbing/Air Conditioning Engineering/Painting & Decoration will be an advantageStrong technical knowledge in property maintenanceGood English and Italian communication skillsHotel or guest services work experience will be an advantageEffective communication skills with colleagues and clientsOur commitment to you Learning & Development: Your success is our success.
