Marine Key Account Representative
As a Key Account Manager for our Marine Coatings division, you will ensure that the vessels and installations that go out to sea are provided with the highest quality of coatings to protect it from harsh (natural) elements.
You will be responsible for driving sales in Italy across the marine sector in the country.
With your strong understanding of the market you are able to engage with clients, follow up on new leads and build strong and positive relationships.
You will be the first point of contact for our customers.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Sell our marine products and promotions to new and existing customers with adherence to pricing policy with responsibility for the achievement of monthly and annual sales and margin targets.
- Ensure customer complaints are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Develop sales across all PPG product ranges, maintaining product knowledge standards and awareness of the market place.
- Plan and implement visits to new and existing customers to maintain awareness of the marine product range and to gain understanding of competitor activity within the market.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven sales skills in the marine market - preferably with 5 years' of learning experience.
- A detailed understanding of the marine sector.
- Outstanding interpersonal and strong communication skills,
- Proficient English
- Flexibility to travel
- Ability to build strong and lasting relationships, good presentation skills.
