Marine TechnicianBarton and Gray Mariners Club has revolutionized yachting with a fleet of 80+ Hinckley and custom vessels serving a private membership in harbors along the East Coast and Great Lakes.

Our growing service team based in Connecticut and South Florida is seeking an experienced Marine Technician to join its mobile service team.

The individual will have an extensive marine repair background and be able to perform mechanical, electrical and some outfitting repairs and preventative maintenance on our fleet of Hinckley powerboats.

The location of this position varies with seasonality of Barton & Gray.

Generally, the position will be based in the north during the summer season and in Florida each winter. ResponsibilitiesTravel to harbors to repair B&G fleet vesselsMaintain a clean and tidy service support vehicleMaintain spare parts inventory for the service vehicleAnswer incoming service callsMaintain B&G vessels to USCG T-Boat regulationsManage expense tracking for all Parts/Materials purchases made on Corporate CCMaintain a good working relationship with Captains and other support staffQualificationsPrior experience as a Marine technicianMarine trade school/ Engine certificationKnowledge of Hinckley & jet drive yachts strongly preferredRequirementsMinimum 5 years experienceOrganized, self-motivated individual with the ability to work independentlyWeekend availability for on-callValid, unencumbered driver's licensePhysical Requirements:Ability to climb up and down vertical stairways and laddersAbility to step over a doorsill or combing of 24 inches in heightAbility to move into and out of small spaces that may require crouching, kneeling or crawlingAbility to lift 50 pounds from the ground and be able to carry, push or pull the same loadAbility to stand intermittently with minimal rest periods for eight hours #J-18808-Ljbffr
