Norgine: Transforming Healthcare, Backed by Over a Century of Expertise. We have an exciting opportunity for a Market Access Public Affairs Manager to join Norgine. The person holding this position will report to the General Manager and be a member of the Market Access team. The core responsibility of a Market Access Public Affairs Manager is to manage the Market Access Public Affairs Team, oversee value communication for all Norgine brands, manage payer communication in the account management field force structure, support the New Products Development Implementation Market Access (NPDI MAx) process to ensure appropriate market access for Norgine's new product pipeline, and act as the reference contact for the pricing policies of all Norgine brands as the local interface of the Global Pricing Committee. This will be a permanent role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Management of the Public Affairs project for all Norgine brands in collaboration with the GMMaximising the reimbursement potential of all Norgine brandsUnderstanding and communicating the unmet needUnderstanding the pricing and reimbursement environment for the intervention and preparing, in collaboration with global and local regulatory affairs commercial teams, the market to receive itObtaining reimbursement/Price/Commercial position at launchDelivery of the value message to AIFA (Medicinal Products Agency) or Ministry of Health (Medical Devices)Support NPDI process by suggesting local data pack needed for reimbursement at the appropriate price as quickly as possibleMaintain an agreed pricing strategyEnsure the healthcare intervention allows our portfolio to be prescribed at national/regional/local levelsObtain agreement from healthcare systems for product prescription by defined prescribers via formulary systemsEnsure appropriate guidelines are in place for patient access to healthcare interventions post-launchDevelop pricing and reimbursement strategies to maintain price and expand accessUnderstand the impact of the intervention on the healthcare system to enhance the value messageAdhere to Norgine compliance policies and applicable compliance lawsComplexityThe role involves the management of market access strategy and function in Norgine RCU. AccountabilityThe individual will be accountable for the management of market access activities, including provision of health economic and outcome data for Norgine's pipeline in Norgine RCU. The role will be highly integrated between Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory for Norgine RCU. The role will work closely with the Global Market Access Department to enable market access strategy and value communication for Norgine Products. Main tasks as MAPAResponsible for the communication of value messages of Norgine brands to customersDevelop national, regional, and local value communication strategies for marketed productsManage the Market Access and Public Affairs Team (office and field-based)Oversee account management communication to payers and payer influencers of Norgine marketed productsCoordinate and implement market access elements of global brand plansCommission high-quality national health economic research to support brand commercial goalsCollaborate with marketing to align health economic research with brand marketing strategyEnsure health economic activities demonstrate value from a payer perspectiveDevelop a national, regional, and local health economic publication strategyCommission appropriate health economic tools and train relevant company staffMinimum Requirements:Detailed knowledge of market access specifics and financing mechanisms in ItalyExperience with pricing, reimbursement, and HTA in assigned territoryExperience working in Oncology or Rare DiseaseManagement or previous experience in a field roleStrong interpersonal skills for relationship development with payersStrong project management skills with oversight experienceStrong presentation and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of legal and regulatory issues affecting health economicsExperience managing sales and marketing at a strategic levelGood level of English skillsThis job description is a summary of the typical functions of the job; not an exhaustive list of all possible responsibilities.
