**_Chiesi Global Rare Diseases_
- Chiesi Global Rare Diseases is a Chiesi Group's business unit established in February 2020 and focused on research, development and commercialization of treatments and patient support services for rare and ultra-rare disorders, many of whom have limited or no treatments available. - The unit is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, and has an initial focus on research and product development for lysosomal storage diseases, rare hematology and ophthalmology disorders.
The unit is also a dedicated partner with global leaders in scientific research, patient advocacy and care.

The Market Access Manager Europe & Emerging Markets, Rare Diseases (MAM BD EU&EMs) will be responsible for business development evaluations ensuring patient access to GRD medicines with a particular focus on key global markets.
He/she will be responsible also for pricing assumptions activities, supporting on assessing pricing evolutions and framework from affiliates and partners.
The MAM BD EU&EMs must demonstrate important critical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative ways to a diverse and increasingly evolving payor landscape.
The MAM EU&EMs will have to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the brands, therapeutic area, and payor landscape, demonstrating this knowledge and experience to influence diverse opinions and build and execute a strategy that meets the needs of multiple internal and external partners.
To do this he/she will develop close collaboration with cross-functional colleagues in the brand teams, Marketing, Medical Affairs, R&D, Regulatory, Patient Advocacy, and Global Pricing & Reimbursement.
**Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Market Access Europe & Emerging markets, Rare Diseases, the incumbent will:
- Support on development pricing assumptions and provide market access analysis for pipeline assets development.
- Collaborate with Affiliates and Partners supporting on assessing prices evolution/assumptions to support forecasting process.
- Participate to Business development activities and due diligence to assess opportunities of acquisition and/or partnership in collaboration with the cross functional teams
- Work on initiative and activities to collect payers insights and feedback to collect information for BD activities
- Work with the Global Operational Pricing to reply to pricing monitoring needs, tracking pricing variation, floor analysis and IRP assessment
- Support MA colleagues responsible for brands to build pricing policy and launch sequences.
**Experience Required
5 years of Market Access experience, in Rare Diseases or Specialty Care market space
**Education
Master degree in economics or science
**Languages
Fluent English
**Technical Skills
- Solid basis in pricing and reimbursement systems
- Comprehensive knowledge and good understanding of the European payer environment and dynamics.
- Experience on Emerging Markets access scenario (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and listening aptitude,
- Ability to work independently and contribute to initiatives that require cross-functional collaboration
