Market Access Specialist (M/F)
managing contacts and relationships with external Counterparties (Producers, Trading Counterparties, Brokers and Exchanges), supporting the negotiation of new contracts (EFET/ISDA, etc) and the access to new market venues; negotiating the supply of power and gas and environmental certificates, in the wholesale market (Bilateral/OTC markets, energy futures and spot exchanges), concluding physical and financial deals; calculating internal competitive transfer prices to Sales Pricing and providing market expert estimates; supporting supply strategies and decisions on bidding activities on markets/gas storages; performing market and statistical analysis with time series and fundamental analysis; management of the trade data, products and counterparties into the ETRM system; following the enhancements of the ETRM system and related tools; managing and optimising the Supply Portfolio, determining the open positions and reducing the underlying risk in the most effective way; running analyses and accurate evaluations of the supply portfolio positions and performances data, in collaboration with Portfolio Management and Risk Management; supporting the activities for the price forward curve calculation; interacting with Contract Management, Portfolio Management and Back Office, Logistics, Sales Supply and Risk Management in their activities related to Market Access; supporting the organization in the development of new products defining the hedging process.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Physics or Engineering; Prior work experience of Trading/Supply in energy markets using ETRM systems (3 - 6 years of experience in Gas & Power Trading or Supply activities in energy companies or investment banks); Good knowledge of European gas and power markets and competitor environment and ability to use this knowledge to negotiate deals, manage risks and identify opportunities; Proficiency in utilizing and interpreting risk models and market analyses; Analytical and/or quantitative skills; Excellent problem solving, strongly oriented to results in a dynamic environment; Excellent intercultural skills to act across functions, countries and businesses; Good team player, able to build and maintain a network of contacts internally and externally; Fluent Italian (mandatory) and fluent English (mandatory).
