Market Analyst
Position Overview: This position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in economics or business, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and a desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
As a Market Analyst, you will join our Marketing team with a cross-functional role, supporting both Marketing (80%) and Finance (20%).
You will analyze marketing data, track key sales & business KPIs, and create reports for both internal use and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency (not just basics!
), and the ability to translate numbers into actionable insights.
Responsibilities: Market Research & Data Analysis Collect, organize, and analyze marketing and sales data from multiple sources, including industry reports, competitor activity, and customer behavior.
Track and interpret key sales & business KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities.
Use Excel (advanced level), Google Sheets, and other tools to create dashboards and data visualizations.
Competitive & Industry Insights Monitor the competitive landscape and analyze competitors' strategies, strengths, weaknesses, and positioning.
Prepare in-depth reports on market dynamics, sales trends, and business performance.
Cross-functional Support Marketing (80%): Work closely with the Creative Product Manager to optimize go-to-market strategies and support marketing decisions with data-driven insights.
Finance (20%): Support the Head of Finance by creating sales reports, business KPI analyses, and presentations for investors & external partners.
Contribute to the creation of reports and presentations for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in market analysis, business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role (internships included).
Strong analytical skills: ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
Excel must be second nature ? Advanced formulas, pivot tables, data visualization.
If you only know SUM and AVERAGE, this is not the right role.
Experience with Google Sheets, Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar is a plus.
Familiarity with financial modeling and statistical methods is a plus.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) to collaborate with international partners.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
