Market Development Representative Broccoli, Cauliflower - Central and South of Italy (m/f) Bayer Crop Science is looking for a bright candidate as Market Development Representative (MDR) to cover the Central and South of Italy area.
He/She will focus on demonstrating the value of our portfolio, knowledge transfer and technical solutions to our partners and customers, by identifying and providing technical solutions through a dedicated trialing focus.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate and conduct field-based applied research for local product placement and tailored solutions under local farming conditions Provide timely completion of projects and placement of trials to meet the local market needs, and integrity of the data collected Communicate actionable insights from this applied research that are based upon sound data analysis Use data and insights to deliver customer-focused solutions and improve dealer and partner capabilities, generate high-quality data and insights to increase the company's understanding of customers Use agronomic and portfolio knowledge to provide market and competitor insights Provide consistent guidance and feedback to help strengthen specific knowledge and skill areas needed among diverse stakeholder groups to position products, demonstrate value and provide technical recommendations that support customer success Provide the technical training of internal teams, dealers, distributors and growers on key Features, Advantages, Benefits (FABs) of the vegetable product portfolio and innovative solutions Ensure alignment to the relevant commercial strategy and influence the strategic direction of the breeding and research programs through analysis of market trends, competitive landscape and new technologies Develop Demand Creation and implement local launch strategies of new vegetable seed products and/or solutions Build strong and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and strategic influencers across agriculture and technology industry to provide technical solutions beyond advances in genetics Work cross-functionally on events (field days, grower summits, grower meetings, etc. )
to generate demand for the vegetable portfolio at customers' level WHO YOU ARE: Degree in agricultural or related fields At least 2 years of previous agronomic experience Analytical thinking, able to convert data to practical-applied knowledge and solutions for partners and customers High sense of responsibility, results and data oriented, customer orientation (internal and external) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent informatics skills and open-to-digital approach Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-based environment Excellent knowledge of English and Italian mother tongue Residence in the Central/South of Italy and maximum availability to travel in the assigned territory Type of contract: Permanent
