We are looking for an experienced Marketing professional to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black and recently acquired Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!).
Now, Let's Get Down to Business This is an excellent opportunity for a Marketing & Category Development Manager Skin Care to be part of Our brand story and manage the various elements of its Marketing mix, by proposing and implementing marketing activities and the brand strategy to achieve sales objectives, planning and monitoring sales for Italy and Iberia.
You will work closely with your manager and European Brand Strategy team to align local strategy, analyze market information, consumer insights and competition activities to identify innovative opportunities. The role demands a great deal of stakeholder involvement, so it's ideal for someone who enjoys communication and building relationships.
Here's a sample of what you'll get up to: • Yearly Marketing Plans Development: Propose and prepare strategic & operational marketing plans for Italy and Spain in collaboration with the Head of Marketing & Cat Dev and the European Brand Strategy Team. • Local Markets activation: Manage the brand and product portfolio, assortment assigned (positioning, technical aspects, supply and logistical aspects etc. )
in collaboration with commercial teams. • Market Knowledge and Analysis: Apply your experience to various market data (Nielsen, Kantar, ad hoc research) to analyze, propose, implement, and check, with corrective actions and growth proposals.
Perform Retail Selling Prices analyses / comparative price proposals and monitor competitor activities. • Marketing Plans Implementation for Italy and Spain: Contribute to the communication strategy: formulate creative briefs (digital / social media / PR / copy adaptations – tags).
Analyze agency creative proposals and cooperate in formulating communication material. • Markets Ambassador: Build a strong relationship with the European Brand Strategy team to align on the best way to implement the brand strategy at a local level, while conveying local needs and challenges to the European team. • Budget: Contribute to Advertising & Promotion expenses follow up for the segment assigned to support commercial/category teams Italy and Iberia. • Lead category and innovation reviews for clients you are responsible for. • Create presentations based on customer analysis and advice - Trade story• Develop strategies to grow our categories and brands by implementing the 4Ps• Be a strategic partner of customers to develop joint business development initiatives, based on solid insights from buyers and consumers• Definition of performance targets with monitoring of results Are You Ready to Show Us What You've Got?
Ideally you will have passion and influencing skills as well as solid Trade Marketing/ Marketing or Sales skills.
Experience in Consumer Goods, Personal Care or Cosmetics is highly desired.
