Marketing Analysis Assistant (Maternity Replacement)
OverviewMédecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare.
As a partner section, MSF Italy is engaged in saving lives and alleviating suffering through fundraising, communication and advocacy, recruitment and deployment of field workers, as well as running operations in Italy and supporting international operations through expertise and other kinds of direct support.
The Data & Digital Technologies area, part of the FR Department, has the objective of managing, maintaining and developing data management, reporting and analysis systems to support all the organisation's activities.
It also has the objective of driving the organization's strategic choices, identifying new opportunities to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and activities.
Reporting to the Head of Data & Digital Technologies, the Marketing Analysis Assistant contributes to the development and management of data analysis systems and processes to support the organisation's strategic choices.
He/she actively contributes to the promotion of a data-driven culture, by spreading a data-driven approach within the organization.
ResponsibilitiesThe Marketing Analysis Assistant contributes to the development and management of analysis systems:
Reporting: Contributing to the development and maintenance of the reporting system useful for monitoring the performance of activities and processes serving the organisation, through the following activities:Gathering requirements and needs from colleagues in the different business units. Defining metrics and key performance indicators. Designing reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools. Carrying out checks and balances with the database to ensure the accuracy of the data collected. Training and supporting colleagues in the use of reporting tools. Analysis: Develop and manage quantitative and qualitative analyses to define multichannel and data-driven strategies, using predictive models and statistical techniques.
Examples of analyses include:Evaluating the results of fundraising campaigns. Segmentation of the donor base to optimise the organisation's activities. Time series analysis of income and costs for each budget line. Preparation of forecast scenarios. Supporting the Marketing Analysis Officer in benchmarking analyses. QualificationsRole skills:Degree in technical/scientific disciplines. Excellent command of data management tools and relational database query languages. Excellent knowledge of business intelligence tools. Soft skills:Behavioral flexibility. Emotion and stress management. Teamwork & cooperation. Results and quality orientation. Planning and organization. Initiative and innovation. Work experience:At least 2 years' experience in the processing of statistical and quantitative analyses. Experience in Database management and use of SQL language. Desirable requirements:Knowledge of the Power BI tool. Knowledge of Google Analytics 4. Knowledge of ETL tools. Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques. Positions details: Contract: Temporary position for maternity replacement.
Fixed-term contract of 6 months.
Full-time, Level III of Italian CCNL of Commerce.
Gross Annual Salary: 28. 487€ - max 35. 040€ depending on the experience of the selected candidate.
Expected start date: 02/06/2025.
Location: Hybrid.
MSF Italy Rome or Milan office, and from home.
