JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Marketing and Communications Analyst within the Corporate & Investment Bank communications team you will be supporting the businesses on a day-to-day basis, providing internal and external communications, including operational support, for the team across the Southern European region.

You will work closely with business and functional partners, and Communications colleagues across the firm and report to head of Marketing & Communications for Southern Europe.

**Responsibilities**:

- Convey messages for internal and external communications around business and Corporate Responsibility projects

- Manage logistics and support spokespeople throughout internal events and media interactions

- Create and maintain briefing documents

- Collaborate across the Marketing & Communications organization on executive communications, social media and content development

- Assist in creating quarterly measurement reports for the regional Marketing & Communications team

- Respond to incoming calls from clients, vendors and various counterparts etc.

- Handle audit and other Compliance requirements

**Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

- BA in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism preferred

- Fluency in Italian, English and Spanish

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize high volume, high priority initiatives in a deadline-driven environment

- An obsessive attention to detail, a deep respect for journalism, and a curiosity to learn more about banking

- Ability to make good judgement calls

- Ability to work independently to execute on projects while taking direction from multiple managers

- Advanced understanding of media monitoring tools for reporting purposes

- Expertise in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required

- Initiatives in a deadline-driven environment

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

- 1+ year of experience preferred, ideally in supporting financial services companies
