The role We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Associate to join our marketing team in Milan. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and a keen interest in the asset management industry. This role will primarily focus on planning, coordinating, and executing events to enhance our brand presence and client engagement while keeping a proactive approach to broader marketing tasks. The person will report to the Marketing management team, working alongside two other team members. Key tasks and responsibilities include, but will not be limited to: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, including conferences, webinars, and client meetings. Coordinate logistics for events, such as venue selection, catering, A/V, transportation and on-site management. Collaborate with internal teams to develop detailed event agendas, content and promotional materials. Manage event registration and attendee communication. Track and report on event metrics and outcomes. Proactively support the development and articulation of defined content for the firm's client and media distribution channels, ensuring consistent messaging and effective communication strategies. Help manage the firm's CRM and mailing system. Establish appropriate relationships across the Business Development and Client Relations teams, investment teams and other departments (primarily Legal, Compliance and Finance). Proofread all marketing materials in collaboration with relevant marketing and business development/client relations colleagues. Manage print asset inventory collaborating with the Business Development / sales teams on effective corporate, product brochures and materials. Develop and design reports for senior management to reflect client activity and business development trends. Coordinate with local suppliers for the production and printing of marketing materials. Be open and willing to take on ad-hoc tasks related to business development and client relations. The candidate The ideal candidate will have: Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Economics or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in marketing and event organisation and coordination, preferably in the financial services industry. Strong organizational and project management skills. Familiarity with B2B and B2C marketing. Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). Experience with email marketing and marketing automation systems (Pardot preferred). Proficiency in MS Office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English; fluency in any other languages is a plus. High interpersonal and organisational skills, with a strong work ethic. Excellent attention to detail.
