Marketing Associate Director, Hemoglobinopathies
Position Summary**:
The Marketing Associate Director is responsible for developing and supporting the Italian launch preparation and brand strategy (deduced from and aligned with the International strategy) and executing of unbranded and branded tactics/activities to support the launch of our first gene editing therapy for hemoglobinopathies (sickle cell disease and beta thalassemia), CTX001.
The role will act as the lead and be responsible for promotional and non-promotional activities both through personal and non-personal channels for HCPs, the public and Authorised Treatment Centres.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensures that the brand strategy is translated with an effective launch tactical plan for HCPs and care teams
- Develop a plan with the cross-functional team for the preparation of launch and launch of CTX001
- Works with the international and global teams to help shape the global and international brand strategy/ global deliverables to meet the Italian specific needs
- Engages with the HCP community for transfusion-dependent ? -thalassemia (TDT) and sickle cell disease (SCD), including both transplanter surgeon/staff/hospital pharmacists/controller and referring haematologists, to understand community challenges and opportunities influence perceptions, and to develop advocates
- Works with external agencies to execute promotional strategy and tactics through personal and non-personal channels, while ensuring external partners remain on-time and on-budget
- Leverages primary and secondary research to develop clear, actionable insights that accurately inform the key drivers and barriers to a successful launch strategy.
**Required Education, Experience and Skills**:
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or scientific degree
- Experience in developing tactics and marketing experience in Italy
- Haematology, Hemoglobinopathies (sickle cell disease and beta thalassemia), cell, genetic and/or speciality therapy experience
- Direct experience across different disciplines (Marketing, Sales, Market Access)
- Highly skilled in leading and influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders with scientific and commercial teams
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage initiatives that require collaboration across multiple functional areas
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and monitor performance
- An entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
- Hands on approach, can do attitude and Innovative and entrepreneurial flair
- Strong written communication skills, presentation delivery, and interpersonal skills to be effective in a team environment.
- A solid compliance mindset and demonstrated integrity on the job
- Fluent in English
