Ecolab, the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services, is looking for a marketing communications manager to join its Industrial Communications team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional to join a leading global sustainability company at the forefront of people and planet health.
The marketing communications manager Industrial Europe has a critical role to connect and align marketing communications efforts of divisions in Europe with global divisions, and market and global communications.
The manager will focus on developing and executing impactful communications strategies and programs that support the Industrial Group's commercialization of sustainability and digital programs.
A significant focus will be on contributing to the development of a branded program to differentiate and position Ecolab as the world's leading water management company and its implementation across European businesses and countries
The marketing communications manager also will be responsible for the coordination of critical market support for Europe Heavy, Light, F&B in alignment with division marketing in Europe, global divisions, and global and market communications
The role can be based everywhere in EU
**What You Will Do**:
- Elevate Ecolab's position as the world's leading water management company
- Focus on internal and external positioning of sustainability and digital value propositions to drive customer impact and support growth
- Help shape brand positioning and support commercialization of water management offerings in Europe
- Support the development of Europe-specific marketing collateral
- Tailor value propositions for products and innovations in sustainability, digital and water management for impact in Europe, working closely with market marketing and global divisional marketing communications
- Collaborate with internal, external, marketing, and digital communication peers across market and globally on integrated communications efforts reaching multiple stakeholder audiences
- Coordinate market support in alignment with global divisional marketing, communications teams, Global Industrial communications team, and Europe division marketing for Heavy and Light divisions
- Ensure global division strategic plans and programs are adapted for Europe to increase effectivity, alignment, and customer impact
- Counsel divisional marketing leadership on marketing communications for events, initiatives, and technologies
- Coordinate updates to EU website to increase touchpoints and customer traffic
- Support media placements and online campaigns in collaboration with market and global communications
- Acts as a brand steward and liaison for the European marketing teams
**Qualifications**:
- Years of experience in marketing communications, sales enablement, marketing, or related function with relevant experience in agency and/or in-house communication roles
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience leading and collaborating with international and cross-functional teams
- Excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills
- Proven experience in leading successful communication campaigns including creative content creation and amplification through innovative channel strategies
- Highly organized with strong project management capabilities
- Flexible and adaptable; willingness to learn new tools and technologies, and able to work in ambiguous situations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated and can-do attitude
