Marketing Data Analyst
We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Data Analyst who will analyze and improve the effectiveness of Marketing spend for markets across the globe.
The Marketing Data Analyst is a key member of the Global Operational Marketing Team, working with agencies and internal partners (local Marketing teams as well as global omnichannel, communication and digital departments) helping to drive a quantitative approach to Marketing strategy and planning.
He/Her mission will be to **translate data it into high quality and actionable insights **to improve the effectiveness of marketing activations and advertising campaigns to unlock business opportunities.
**Daily activities include**:
Analyzing metrics of success for an Advertising campaign or Marketing activation
Developing data-driven insights and recommendations and communicating to internal stakeholders in a clear and compelling storytelling.
Ensure the most opportune data architecture is in place by working with other internal stakeholders (i. e.
IT dept)
Ensure data quality standards are met by working with media agencies
Foster a Data driven culture and know how sharing and evangelization across HQ and local marketing teams
**Deliverables**:
- Deliver regular and bespoke analyses.
Extrapolate actionable data driven insights to spot trends and optimization opportunities to be communicated to internal clients in the most efficient way
- Maintain and evolve automated dashboards providing sound insights and recommendations, while assuring the accuracy and consistency of data
- Recommend metrics for testing with a Test & Learn approach
**Profile**:
**Required Skills**:
- 5+ years' experience of analytics and data science expertise in Marketing field
- Ability to effectively extract and communicate insights from large data sets to identify trends, correlations and drive future Marketing strategies
- Ability to translate technical aspects of analysis and metrics into actionable insights
- Data driven storytelling skills - you create and deliver compelling presentations with outstanding visuals
- Understanding of business challenges through relevant job experience
- Familiarity with Marketing metrics and tools used to measure digital advertising (i. e.
Google Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager )
- Fluency with visualization tools (i. e.
Power BI)
- Ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast pace environment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work cross-functionally and with others with diverse skill sets
- Fluency in English is a must have
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- MBA, Master's or Doctoral degree in Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Advertising, or Business
- Experience in Media/Marketing Agencies
- Hands-on experience on ad trafficking and ad targeting
- Specific knowledge of China Marketing tools
