Marketing Intelligence Manager

Exide is looking for a Marketing Intelligence Manager.
He/she will develop market, business, competitive and legislative/technical trends analysis to support the Automotive division approaching the business with a robust data-driven strategy, while building up a knowledge base and a central, structured collection and consolidation of local market insights, as well as support the creation of educational materials that may serve as basis for training activities
He/she will cooperate with SME (subject matter experts) across the entire Automotive division (eg KAM/Salereps, Application Engineering, Product Management, Marketing etc) to gather and consolidate insights, news, trends on automotive battery market and applications from all available internal and external sources
He/she will also oversee searching, selecting, purchasing and analyzing any market studies from third parties that can offer valuable information and in-depth analysis of specific topics, upon request or need, and within the limits of assigned budget
The Marketing Intelligence Manager will report solid line to the Director of Product Management and Application Engineering
The position will be based in Italy
More specifically, his/her duties will include :
Analyze the Global Automotive battery market, both OEM and IAM, to gather insights and data on market news and trends, business opportunities, supply/demand dynamics and overall competitive landscape Analyze competitors' offerings and ranges, strategies, mid & long-term plans and map customers' sourcing by Region and by Channel Understand automotive powertrain/application evolution under the EU NetZero and general CO2 reduction targets in all Regions and translate this into battery demand analysis per channel Define quanti/quali KPIs per each stream of analysis and ensure rigorous tracking and reporting Select and propose relevant methodologies to collect data Analyze the regulatory scenario and anticipate changes to ensure impact assessment and compliance Release regular reports to support strategic initiatives by Sales and Top Management Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Degree Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills Minimum 10 years' experience in Marketing/Business Intelligence or Strategic Marketing roles in a manufacturing industry preferably within the Automotive sector Demonstrated ability to successfully work cross-functionally with other departments and key stakeholders in a multinational environment Demonstrated ability to distill high-level information into easily understood concepts Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
