**Overall Summary
This includes both long-range strategic planning and short-term tactical execution.
As Marketing Manager, International, you need to understand the competitive landscape and identify market trends and growth opportunities.
You will report to the Marketing Director, International and your primary role will be to drive and assist in the planning and implementation of all marketing related aspects of applicable products and programs in the International markets for both the hip and knee MicroPort portfolio.
You will be expected to collaborate with key internal personnel to support current business and bring innovative new products and technologies into market.
As Marketing Manager, International, you will work in collaboration with the International business leaders, distributors, sales reps, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure short term & long-term growth goals are met.
You will work closely with the field sales force and with customers to understand market trends, customer perspectives, competitor activities and industry dynamics to support strategic segment plans and tactics necessary to drive penetration in the International market landscape.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide field support either locally or Internationally for hip and knee procedures.
- Back office support for EMEA distributors: address technical questions, IBP alignment and coordination, supervise product registrations, third party event support (compliance approval, branding and messaging alignment), medical education planning and execution.
- Coordinate, in conjunction with the relevant business leaders, the on boarding of stocking distributors (product selection, launch, registration, etc).
- Review and maintenance of the International marketing library in collaboration with the MarCom team - determine priorities and update content and messaging.
- Supervise and manage the internal MicroPort e-learning platform.
- Support the quarterly International Med-Ed events.
- Provide inputs for monthly marketing field note and communication.
- Manage the EMEA marketing loaner sample pool.

**Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), facilitation and organization skills - **Mandatory** fluent written and spoken English.
Another major European language (Italian, French or Spanish) preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Travel: up to 50% of the time
**Accountability
A high degree of autonomy and initiative are required.
You will work closely with other marketing personnel and cross-functionally across the entire organization.
You will be responsible to meet/exceed their annual goals and support the broader objectives of the organization.
**Compliance
The Marketing Manager must follow all internal processes related to HCP consultant interaction, and may be in a position to initiate and verify HCP consultant services per the processes.
The Marketing Manager must also follow all reporting guidelines for business expenses, particularly as they pertain to HCP interaction and involvement.
As part of the credentialing requirement for this role, you are required to stay current on all vaccines required by MicroPort policy, any policies of any healthcare facilities you encounter during the course of your job, including but not limited to the COVID-19 vaccination.
Other safety and preventative measures may be required of you by company or customer policies.

**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
**_ Required: _**Bachelor's Degree in business, science, engineering or related discipline
**_ Preferred: _**Master's Degree in business, science, engineering or related discipline
**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
3 years of successful marketing and brand management experience, with demonstrated progressive levels of accomplishment required.
Prior orthopedic joint reconstruction experience in the medical device industry highly preferred.
