This is an amazing opportunity for a driven professional to join our BMS Europe team composed of a diverse group of women and men from all over the world and play an important role in the exciting transformation of our sales model and industry making building smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
This position will be based in Italy.
In this role, you will report to the BMS Europe Vertical Business Development Director, and you will be in charge of coordinating and deploying a coherent set of marketing activities across multiple verticals/segments and channels in Europe.
You will work collaboratively with the Business Development Managers, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing teams and the local Sales teams in Europe to drive the growth in target verticals/Segments.
Measures of success will include driving year-on-year growth in sales opportunities, sales revenue/orders, new customers acquisition.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Manage the process to collect market unmet needs and recommended solutions to feed into the product roadmaps and ensure key needs of each market and verticals/segments are addressed.
Work closely with each business development manager and Product Marketing team and sales team to share learnings
- Conduct research with local teams to understand government incentives or regulations affecting or supporting the market segments growth plan, identifying the key influencers in each market.
Help Business development leaders to become go to expert in their vertical/segment
- Coordinate with Customer Marketing to prepare impactful events, campaigns and sales collaterals (ppt, video, webinars, etc.
), trainings delivered in a coordinated way across segment/verticals and countries.
Provide briefs, monitor execution, follows results, and provide routes for improvements
- Coordinates the competitive intelligence process across verticals/segments - value proposition (offers, pricing, activities) and competition differentiation.
Establish robust relationships with local sales team to gather and cascade learnings
- Develop and standardize reporting across segment/verticals, ensure it provides comprehensive understanding of the business situation, supporting monthly management reviews, or on ad hoc basis based on business needs, or during planning processes (Annual Objectives Plan, Strategic Planning for example)
- Provide ad hoc support to Business development leaders, and lead specific projects or initiatives based on business needs
- 2-4 years professional experience in sales or marketing areas.
- Excellent analytical skills, great attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and cross functional organization.
- Dynamic, capable of engaging others to solve issues or get results, while being able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Fluent in English and one other European language.
**Highly Desirable
- Sales&Marketing degree/MBA on top of engineering degree
- Another European language
- Building management system or adjacent industry experience
