We designed a program made of different experiences and learning opportunities that will prepare you for a future career in the area of Marketing, Trade and Sales.
Here's a snapshot of it:
**- Internship
You start with a six-month internship experience in the area that best matches your skills and attitude, such as Consumer Marketing, Trade Marketing or Customer Development, where from day one you will be exposed to real business challenges and deliver results as a true team member, holding a real position at Barilla.
**- Field Sales Experience
We sell our products to consumers every day.
That is why we encourage our marketing, trade & sales interns to make an experience as a Field Sales Representative across Italy.
This will allow you to develop a strong understanding of our business, our customers and shoppers, you will benefit from hands-on learning opportunities and start building strong leadership skills.
**- Future Career
After your Field Sales journey, you will have gained great experiences to help you continue your exciting career in Barilla, within the job function that most suits you and your career ambition.
OPEN ROLES TODAY
**Consumer Marketing, Mulino Bianco
You will learn about marketing and communication with a focus on design, creation and development of new packaging, either for biscuits or minicakes categories.
Besides being exposed to the day-to-day real business experience, you will (a) get a 360° view of market trends and analytics; (b) support the planning and implementation of communication plans and new product launches; (c) take part in Brand Activation activities; (d) contribute to the development of brand communication materials (packaging, in store, website).
**Consumer Marketing, GranCereale
You will experience the development and launch of new marketing programs designed to drive growth and manage the performance of Gran Pavesi & Wasa brands.
Besides being exposed to the day-to-day real business experience, you will (a) get a 360° view of market trends and analytics; (b) take part in Brand Activation activities; (c) contribute to the development of brand communication materials (packaging, in store, website).
(d) perform data analysis, reporting and insights for the brands.
**Customer & Category Development
You will support the creation of strategies and plans to develop our categories, identifying commercial opportunities that help achieve our sales targets and create value for the business and our customers.
While learning about key customer & category management, you will (a) support the analysis of products performance within a designated customer (retailer); (b) work on category management related projects; (c) implement tailored in-store shopper activities and analyse relevant performances; (d) monitor and analyse the efficiency of all in-store promotions.
**Trade Marketing
You will support the creation of plans and initiatives that convert consumers into shoppers of our brands and categories.
Besides the day-to-day business experience, you will acquire specific knowledge of trade marketing and become responsible for: (a) sell out performance analysis with Nielsen KPIs; (b) management and coordination of in-store activities; (c) development of promotional material dedicated to national and customers-tailored shopper marketing activities; (d) monitoring performance KPIs for specific ad-hoc projects.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Have recently graduated (or are about to) in the fields of Economics, Marketing, Business Management.
- Have an outstanding university career with excellent results and study/work experience abroad.
- Be able to write and speak fluent English.
- Be good at and enjoy analytics and high-volume of data.
- Have a wide range of digital and tech skills.
- Bring an out-of-the box mindset, coupled with agility and entrepreneurship.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be geographically mobile, have a flexible mindset and a can-do attitude.
