**OFFICE
Our new office in Via Turati is a strategic hub, and home to all of the NGG/NGGH++ staff functions.
Turati is where the behind the scenes driving force of NGG/NGGH++ is brought to life; this is harmonised with the archive exhibits of brand collaborations found throughout the office
**THE ROLE
NGGH++ is looking for a Marketplace Director to define, develop and manage high value accounts that secure new products selection, value and pricing to our clients.
You will manage a team of talented marketplace managers and carry out thorough product analysis and market research to define product selection gaps and execute GTM strategies to attract key market players
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Develop a thorough understanding of the market segment, seasonality and global trends and continually monitor competitors-
- Develop an analytical framework and sound understanding of product gaps, customer needs and identify new prospective sellers. -
- Identify, prospect, and acquire high-potential buyers through direct sales visits, events, and presentations. -
- Develop category management and product strategy, allowing for market specialisation to optimise marketplace penetration-
- Work closely with leadership on planning and business strategy, drive best-in-class customer experience and maximise unit and revenue growth through timely analysis and action. -
- Drive seasonal marketing plan process, to manage in season trading activity with the support of the region marketing and merchandise planning teams-
- Drive asset requirements, marketing needs to support the range of brand, category, product, editorial need-
- Integrate regional trading activity with global brand and product strategies and plansWHO YOU ARE
- 10+ years experience in a similar role preferably in a sports brand
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Merchandising, or similar; a Master's is a plus
- Extensive knowledge of the sports and luxury industry with great product sensitivity
- Proven experience in qualitative and quantitative research design, analysis, and consumer insights
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and liaise with global internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communications skills both in writing and in delivering presentations
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Great eye for detail, flexible with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English written and spoken, an additional language is a plus
