We are looking for an exceptional Master Gelato Chef with a passion for creating the most indulgent and luxurious Gelato to join our team in Vienna **(relocation plan available).

You will be responsible for developing and creating new and innovative ice cream recipes for our venues and events, managing the production of ice cream for events, training and mentoring pastry chefs in ice cream production, staying up-to-date with the latest ice cream trends and techniques, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

You will be an integral part of our culinary team and will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in crafting the most exquisite Gelato menu that will delight our discerning clientele.

- Develop and create new and unique gelato flavours that reflect local and seasonal ingredients

- Ensure that high-quality gelato is consistently produced in line with company standards

- Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining equipment

- Train and mentor junior staff on gelato making techniques and best practices

- Work with the pastry team to create new and exciting dessert menus for our venues and events

- Continually research and explore new gelato trends, techniques and flavours

Qualifiche

- Proven experience as a Master Gelato Chef, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role

- A culinary degree or qualification in pastry and ice cream making

- Excellent knowledge of ice cream production

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff members

- Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining quality and consistency in all aspects of ice cream production

- Fluent in English
