Descrizione For a multinational company leader in the entrance automation industry, we are looking for a Material Planner. Role Summary The Material Planner, reporting directly to the Head of Planning department, is responsible for planning raw materials and finished products to fulfill factory and customers' needs, using forecasts and historical data. Teamwork and a dynamic approach are essential to obtain the best results and gain common targets. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Material Planner to create, modify, and manage purchase schedules. Main responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, regularly providing purchase status updates to management, and facilitating the timely delivery of products to customers. To be successful as a Material Planner, you should be knowledgeable of material requirements planning and able to manage deadlines, demonstrating excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, ensuring that Supply Chain operations run smoothly. Main Tasks and Responsibilities Creating a consistent production/sales forecast Evaluating and releasing purchase orders to create suitable production/sales schedules Monitoring product rotation, forecast accuracy, stock levels, and the main KPIs Following up on suppliers' deliveries Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production/sales schedules Requirements Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related field Experience in Sales Analysis/Planning or Supply Chain department Fluency in Italian and English (required level C1) Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software Proactive approach Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to work under pressure Knowledge of AS400 & Compass would be considered a plus J-18808-Ljbffr
