**You will join the EMEA Supply Planning Organization, in a unique time, because of great investments, transformation projects and the opportunity to gain experience in supporting a change phase within the function.
**The Role**:
The position will report to the Supply Planning Manager and will be in charge of planning materials within the Region, coordinating with Regional Supply Planning Team, plants' MRP Planners and the Regional Procurement Team.
**Key Responsibilities
The Regional Materials Planner is responsible to perform all planning activities to ensure optimal availability of
**Packaging Components / Glass** to meet production requirements:
- Support Procurement in yearly negotiations with suppliers, translating yearly volumes in monthly requirements
- Manage bottles planning process (forecast, allocations, supplier stock/ production control, exception management)
- Create materials forecast and share with supplier
- Create and maintain material planning objects in SAP (e. g.
scheduling agreement) to ensure material availability for call-off
- Ensure an allocation of volumes along different suppliers in line with yearly contracts and quotas defined by Procurement
The role could furtherly evolve, once the position is mature, taking responsibility for additional categories (raw material, semi-finished goods) and on material master data.
**Key Activities
- Analyze European plants' material requirements on a 12-18 months horizon
- Allocate volumes to different Suppliers, based on contracts and quota arrangement negotiated by procurement (in case of multi-source)
- Create 12-18 months rolling forecast and share them with Suppliers
- Analyze stock position and production plans shared by bottles' suppliers on a weekly basis, to ensure that plants' requirements are covered
- Provide guidelines to plants for weekly call off execution
- Monitor contracts consumption, and alert Procurement in case of deltas versus quantities agreed with Suppliers
- Crysis management (re-allocate volumes among suppliers in case of quality issues, material shortage, overconsumption vs. forecast, etc.
)
- Support procurement in yearly negotiation with Suppliers, providing insights on monthly volumes
- Support procurement in measuring Suppliers' performances
**Skillset & Traits**:
- University Degree in (Business/ Engineering/
- 3 Years of relevant experience within qualified multinational (Beverage/ FMCG)
- Strong analytical skills (statistics, strong Excel capabilities)
- Ability to interface with wide variety of business situations and different functions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in SAP, MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint
- English proficiency required, French is a plus
