**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
**Position**:
The responsibility of this role is to manage material flows, such as inventory and warehouse operations, while coordinating data capture across functions for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The role will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure tracking of inventory levels and review of shipments to Olympic and Paralympic venues between all territories during all periods of operations.
(Installation, Bump In, Games Operations and Bump Out and Decommissioning).
In particular, he/she will:
- Improve the efficiency of supply chain operations through data collection, analysis, and recommendation of alternative solutions.
The goal is to increase efficiencies by reducing the cost and time required in delivering material both to the warehouse and to the venue;
- Ensure the creation of Stock Keeping Units (SKU) codes to be assigned to the individual goods.
The coordinator plays a key role in finding the most efficient strategy for delivery and eventual assembly of materials at locations and villages;
- Collaborate to the deployment of Warehouse Management System (WMS), system linked to Organizing Committee Finance and Procurement systems, which manage the inventory counts, the administrative part, and with any other software used in the automated storage and handling systems within the warehouse;
- Prepare bump-in plans for Venues, Villages, and other venues by establishing, volumes to be shipped, space management, and deliveries based on priorities of functions and possible delivery times at competitive and non-competitive venues.
Enable the use of inventory before and after the games;
- Produce documents and policies for material management and communication to all stakholder and contractors;
- Ensure the whole supply chain for Furniture Fixture and Equipment, from data capturing, to space allocation, procurement and delivery.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, management engineering is preferred.
Equivalent experience and Degree in ambit of economics and statistics can also be considered;
- Fluent English - written and spoken;
- 3 years of experience in supply planning, material planning or related experience, preferably in a mid to large-size soft goods-related company, in a similar role with a focus on Demand Planning and Operations;
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Drive for results and quality oriented, Pro-active, persuasive, and flexible attitude;
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Products, and Excel mastery is required;
- Project management, and leadership skills to manage complex projects and balance multiple priorities;
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities working under pressure.
