Material Supply Legal Specialist
Job Post: Material Supply Legal SpecialistFollowing the guidelines of the Material Supply Management Responsible and under the guidance of the Material Supply Legal Manager, the Material Supply Legal Analyst has the following main responsibilities:
Draft the documentation needed to support the relevant Projects team members/Functions in the definition, preparation and administration of legal and contractual aspects of the main correspondences to Vendors, under the supervision of the Material Supply Legal Manager;Assist Projects team members and the Material Supply Management Managers/Engineers in drafting claims and responses to claims submitted to/by Vendors, in terms of legal/contractual basis, when required;Analyze the claims and related responses, also drafting their relevant sections, when required, for further control by the Material Supply Legal Manager;Prepare the templates for claims and related responses to be shared with the Function;Assist the Material Supply Management Responsible in monitoring the implementation of activities and good practices within the organization aimed to develop and finalize the documentation required for the claims preparation and administration. With primary focus on legal and contractual aspects, he/she is in charge of analyzing and drafting the necessary documentation to support the Material Supply Management Function and procurement projects teams in the application of the correct methodologies for the management of passive contracts with Vendors (e. g. , claims, responses to claims, Liquidated Damages, Major Back Charges, here below defined as "Disputes").
