Edge, Division of Eurosearch Consultants, on behalf of an important Italian company operating in the manufacturing of automotive components, is searching for a:

**MATERIALS MANAGER

**Posizione**:

Reporting directly to the Logistics Director, the Materials Manager will take responsibility for a team (5 people) for the procurement of materials and components for motor vehicles.

**Main skills and responsibilities**:

- Purchasing raw materials and supplies according to project specifications;

- Maintaining inventory levels to ensure projects finish on deadline;

- Ensuring that materials acquisition and storage comply with company and government guidelines;

- Supervising, evaluating and coaching staff members;

- Maintaining inventory records.

**Requisiti**:

**Requirements**:

- Excellent knowledge of supply chain maintenance and inventory management system;

- At least 3 years' experience in this position, preferred in a manufacturing environment;

- Good leadership skills and previous experience in personnel management;

- Professional English;

- Hands-on experience with forecasting and budgeting;

- Analytical thinking with problem-solving aptitude;

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
