Currently we are looking for a MEC ( Manufacturing Excellence Center) Team Manager to join our team in Yazaki Bulgaria.
Fundamentals of MEC:
- 'In collobaration with Y-EMEA PCC (NYS), PPC, GME, MIC & Plant Operations
- to Sustainable implementation of Profuction Management Kaizen tools accros YEL
- to Drive continuous improvements of Supply Chain and Logistics related KPIs across all customer segments
- to Establishing of a systematic plant workforce developement to achieve maximal quality and productivity in mínimal time
- to follow MEC procedure
- to follow up and implement MEC fundamentals in all Plants
- to organize Lead Plant Activities / Audit
- to update periodically Y-EMEA Product Matrix
Profitability Improvements:
- In collaboration with Y-EMEA & BU Controllers; and with close contact to Plant Operations:
- Participate PCC meetings
- to check periodically plant achievements acc to PCC Assumptions and budget - MTP Track and follow up the action plans to optimize manufacturing cost
- to organize and participate workshops for MIT improvements for the specific projects which are not at the required level from PCC / budget targets.
- to monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales according to PCC Gap Analysis.
- to liaise with other functional/departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of operational development, and to ensure they are fully informed of operational objectives, purposes and achievements.
Manufacturing Technology and Layout:
- In collaboration with the Y-EMEA Engineering, MIC & SMP teams:
- to support the definition of the appropriate technology for each plant
- to support the permanent follow-up of equipment utilization ratio and layout optimization.
- to coordinate and follow up P2 elimination activities
- to maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary operational development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation
- to participate New concept development / implementation and promote investing in next budget term
Operational Excellence:
- 'In collaboration with Plant Managers & Head of MEC MC(Manufactruong Cluster):
- to organize operational (Best practice) Synergy Sharing Activities
- to help define polyvalent structure of the team / Polyvalent ratio in the team and follow up
- to analyse absenteeism / Resignation Analysis by project by Work Station by plant and follow up action plan
- to give Kaizen targets by plants and follow up
- to particiate Reverse FMEA activities during SoP & Ramp up after process validation
- to take active role in Yokoten sharing (QCDE) - Quality (internal & external) - Machine - Method for NPT reduction
- to organize and follow up Ergonomics improvement in all plants
- to promote line leader, middle management & hancho development
- to organize to implement SMED (single minute exchange of die) principles at P1&P2 &
- to promote OEE Improvement Activities
- improve first hour productivity
- to define the best process concept by harness category, this is linked to the product matrix definition.
I have already seen this point during some meeting related to xxx department.
- to participate in the development of the digitalization tools to improve the shopfloor control.
- to make sure that all training plan and coaching plans are in place for the new plants set up, follow the execution with the plants and CF.
- to participate the HV process development with PPC team
- to promote FTT & RR improvement activities
