JOB TITLE: MECHANIC TECHNICIAN Location: International-Vicenza-Italy Must already have an ACTIVE Italian/EU work permit to be considered SkyBridge is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Mechanic Technician to join our Vehicle Engineering Maintenance and Operations Support (VEMOS) team.

The selected candidate will assist in providing sustainment support services (operational engineering and logistics support) globally for some 25, 000 vehicles including the Army's Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles, or MRAPs.

*Important Note* Selected candidates be offered a full-time Italian contract and will be subject to paying Italian taxes, obtaining Italian healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the Italian labor system.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Repair, rebuild or overhaul major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks or tractors.

Replace worn or broken parts such as piston rings, bearings, or other engine parts; grinding and adjusting valves; rebuilding carburetors; overhauling transmissions; and repairing fuel injection, lighting and ignition systems.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Proven maintenance, repair, technical experience and background in industrial manufacturing, commercial maintenance or military operations or maintenance.

Must obtain or already have an active Italian/E. U.

work permit to be considered.

6+ years of qualified automotive maintenance experience.

Qualified mechanical experience includes one or more of the following: light or heavy-duty trucks, tractors, tactical vehicles, aviation ground support systems, generators, power plants, aircraft or any diesel or gasoline powered equipment or vehicle.

Experience with maintenance support to include operations, system troubleshooting, engineering, design, installation, analysis, maintenance and repair of U. S. systems and subsystems to component level.

Experience with a variety of hand tools, diagnostic tools, power tools, and/or multi-meters.

Experience applying industry and/or military standard troubleshooting procedures to isolate faulty system components.

Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Desired Qualifications: Hold an existing Italian or European Work VISA is preferred.

Prior training or maintenance experience on MRAP FOV systems.

Preferably familiar or knowledgeable with MRAP/RCV systems.

Ability to meet the government deployment physical requirements.

Willingness to travel to various OCONUS locations.

Some OCONUS deployments may be to hostile ("war zone") environments with additional Per Diem and Hazardous Duty Pay.

Security Clearance Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain a (DoD) Public Trust clearance.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.

Must be able to work in high noise areas.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word and Excel.
