Offer DescriptionThe objective of the proposed research project is to develop activities in mechanical characterization, modeling, and structural design of a new class of high-efficiency and environmentally sustainable structural elements using dot-by-dot WAAM technology.

Specifically, this research is of fundamental importance for the development of the research project titled: "Digital Twin for Processing and Optimizing WAAM Engineered Lattice Structures (DoTPOWER)".

The ambition of the DoTPOWER project is to address current gaps in the state of the art to improve both process and product quality, fostering the adoption of WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing) technology in the construction sector.

To achieve this goal, the project aims to develop new "digital twin" models for the entire workflow, validated through various experimental methods.
