Mission Develop the mechanical structure of new platforms for the BU Wet evaluating the best compromise in terms of quality, performance, and cost.

Responsibilities Define the best mechanical configuration according to the technical specs, evaluating similar products produced by competitors, dimensioning the mechanical components according to the mechanical stress estimated to meet the technical specs while keeping under control the cost of the product and the feasibility related to mass production.

Create and manage the Engineering BOM during the product's lifetime using the PLM related to the CAD to enable logistics to create and maintain the Production BOM.

Propose new components, materials, or technologies to develop new products by investigating technology developments that could be useful for our applications to facilitate the assembly process and reduce the cost of components.

Manage the Component Approval Plan, following all activities related to approval using the software CAP manager to keep track of all activities related to each new or modified component.

Manage samples, working daily with suppliers to receive feedback and evaluate modifications to improve components.

Manage the mechanical structure of the platforms throughout their lifetime, resolving obsolescence and updating mechanical configurations to keep the product up to date.

Manage the coding of new or reviewed components using the PLM and ERP systems to keep product documentation updated.

Requirements Technical education high school; Plus: bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Strong knowledge of 3D CAD.

Basic knowledge of PLM and ERP.

Experience in an international environment (basic knowledge of mechanical FE analysis, CFD analysis, plastic injection molding FE analysis, and 6 sigma design).

English language: intermediate level.
