Job Description: MECHANICAL PRODUCTION & SITE SUPERVISOR FRAG srl is looking for a Mechanical Production & Site Supervisor for managing the overall activities of the site and those of the component production carried out in the workshop for projects in the Power plant sector.
The candidate will be responsible for managing the activities carried out for the production in the workshop of the plants, and subsequently for the installation activities on site until commissioning.
Main Responsibilities: Overall organizational management of the project during assembly activities in the workshop and on site until commissioning.
Management of activities at headquarters for document analysis and discussions with the Engineering department.
Adherence to contractual timelines, reporting any additional needs regarding workforce or equipment for the completion of activities.
Technical supervision and support during plant assembly activities both in the workshop and on site.
Potential intervention during erection phases with small manual activities using portable equipment.
Verification of quality control plans.
Survey of As Built details on site, reporting to the design department.
Preliminary site inspections prior to the start of the construction site.
Conducting activities within scheduled deadlines, ensuring timely weekly planning.
Interface with the client or their representative regarding site management issues.
Verification of care in assembly and work organization, including all aspects of Quality and Safety.
Reporting to the project manager of any non-conformities regarding quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Monitoring and communication of work progress through report drafting.
Interface with the ERP system (e. g. , reporting, closing production orders, etc. ).
Analysis and support for the improvement of production and assembly processes (e. g. , in component preparation, assembly ergonomics, handling, etc. ).
Occasionally, support activities for other departments may be required, such as expediting activities, commissioning support, and warehouse assistance.
Optimization of the management of activities to be carried out on site and in the production site (workshop).
Requirements: Technical Diploma and/or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in managing site activities and coordinating with the engineering department.
Previous experience on projects related to plants in the Power, Oil & Gas, and/or Chemical sectors.
Previous experience in site management/contractors management.
Preferred experience in Technical Office or Maintenance in established companies.
Basic knowledge of instrumentation.
Experience in managing activities within project timelines and costs.
Good knowledge of the English language.
Willingness to travel for medium/long durations both in Italy and abroad.
