Strong communication skills, with experience leading interim commercial meetings with clients and internal project teams. Provide detailed commercial reports to the Project Manager on the project's financial status. Manage subcontractor accounts, including interim valuations and final accounts. Ensure timely processing of payment certificates and adherence to subcontract and procurement terms, including retention management. Administer contract obligations and meet additional client requirements. Issue interim and final accounts, ensuring all applications are accurate and in line with project and contract requirements. Ensure monthly applications include accurate remeasures, site changes, dayworks, and any applicable contract claims. Identify and manage potential commercial risks, escalating issues to senior management as necessary. Work closely with the Planning Engineer to ensure accurate progress reporting and an understanding of scheduling implications. Handle costing and agreement of daily work changes, including subcontractor re-measurement, site day works, and site change orders. Maintain detailed and accurate records to support commercial tracking and costing. Negotiate with clients or their representatives when required. Exhibit enthusiasm, professionalism, and dedication in all aspects of the role. Qualification: Minimum 4 years of Quantity surveying experience essential on Mechanical Projects. 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying ideally coupled with a technical background as either Plumber/Pipefitter (or similar) or Mechanical Engineer. Experience working on mechanical value projects in excess of €5 million within the data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or commercial sectors.
