What you will do

The objective of the position is to lead the mechanical structure team (2 HC in Italy, 8 HC in Turkey), with responsibility of CAD design and drawings release for all cooking R&D activities (new projects, cost reduction and quality improvement). - Managing a team of 10+ designers and engineers. - Assign activities and projects, allocating workload related all design activities among the 2 R&D locations. - Full responsibility on design activities for metal and plastic components: modelling, manufacturability review with toolmakers and suppliers, tolerance stackup analysis, drawings release. - Full responsibility on design activities related to aesthetical components and graphics. - Responsibility on both new project introduction and product maintenance (cost and quality)- Managing budget for external consultancies and prototypes. - Drive DFA/DFM activities in collaboration with manufacturing process engineering. - Cooperation with SBD team (assure 3D models for mesh preparation), CFD report analysis- Coaching and mentoring- New technology scouting, with focus on recycling and new materials

What you need to succeed- Degree in Mechanical/Aereonautical Engineering or equivalent, or proofed experience in a similar role- Minimum 15 years in R&D in Design activities, preferably in white goods/automotive/automation sector, with proofed experience in metal and plastic design components. - Experience in a toolmaker/manufacturing position as a plus. - Italian and English fluent, Turkish as a plus- Proofed knowledge and usage of CAD (preferred Creo, Solidworks)- Knowledge of PLM systems (Teamcentre or Windchill)- Knowledge of SAP- Knowledge of main Microsoft tools (Excel, Powerpoint, MS Project)- 6sigma methodology knowledge / certification as a plus (GreenBelt or BlackBelt)- Proactiveness, resilience, team working approach- Excellent communication skills- Propensity to 1week/mo transfers in Turkey
