Mission RINA is looking for a Mechanical System Engineer responsible for requirements analysis, design, development and optimization of mechanical systems (Bolzano based).

The role involves integration of mechanical components and overseeing the entire lifecycle of the system, from concept to production and maintenance.

Key Accountabilities Mechanical Systems Design: Requirement analysis, SSDD Develop and design complex mechanical systems using CAD software (CATIA) System Integration: Ensure the successful integration of mechanical components into larger systems, collaborating with electrical engineers Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that mechanical designs meet all functional, safety, and performance requirements Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed technical documentation, including SSS and SSDD and Engineering reports Communication with Project Manager Office, Configuration Manager, Customer Service and Production Engineering Education Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering Qualifications At least one experience in CAD mechanical design Technical Proficiency: Expertise in CAD software (CATIA) Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to solve complex engineering challenges Project Management: Experience managing multidisciplinary projects and working with cross-functional teams Attention to Detail: Precise and meticulous approach to design and testing Communication Skills: Ability to present technical information clearly and work collaboratively with teams Competencies MAKE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS - Structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources and constraints ADDRESS THE WAY - Have a big picture of different situations and reinterpret it in a perspective way MANAGE EMOTIONS - Recognise one's and other's emotions and express and regulate one's reactions CLIENT INTIMACY - Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfaction EARN TRUST - Take everyone's opinion into account and remain open to diversity PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT - Promote commitment by keeping promises as a Role Model THINK FORWARD - Capitalise on experiences and translate them into action plans for the future PIONEER CHANGE - Actively embrace change and benefit from the new circumstances BUILD NETWORK - Forge trust relationships, across departments, and outside the organization With over 5, 600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries worldwide, RINA is a multinational player which provides certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision and vendor inspection, training and engineering consultancy services across a wide range of sectors.
