This new role will be part of the Southern Europe Digital Transformation team.
The Media Analyst will have the responsibility of collecting, understanding and analysing the data and results of the team activities, in order to gather insights and learnings and turn them into actions, establishing ways to better connect with Consumer Journeys through Data Science.
**The analyst is a storyteller, able to identify and construct clear actions from disparate data systems, and uncover intuitive digestible insights and next steps.
**Southern European markets are: Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece.
**What you'll do**:
- ** Analyse data from multiple sources and translate into insights and actionable recommendations to facilitate better business decision making
- ** Secure strong KPI measurement with right tracking models and assessment for product and campaign launches, summarise insights & learning for optimization improvement
- ** Inform external agencies on the execution and optimization of campaigns by analysing past campaigns, audiences, creatives, etc.
- ** Stay close to market trend & consumer behaviour to provide up-to-date perspectives to reveal insights and foresights
- ** Demonstrate ownership on media insights, promote fact-based decision culture in marketing and build up team's capability on data analysis
- ** Work closely with local brand and regional teams, communicate insights with key stakeholders and identify actions to capture the opportunities
- ** Generate and analyse campaign reports from various business systems in order to communicate campaign status, progress, and optimization based on data
- ** Share analytics and optimization information with teams as needed
- ** Assist test and learn opportunities to media planning (A/B Tests, etc)
- ** Provide strategic advice on campaign optimization with insights derived from understanding of consumer dynamics and past campaigns
- ** Stay acquainted with the latest digital trend, market best practices and propose insights to enhance the customer journey with new digital tools / platforms
- ** Provide cross-analysis of the digital programs (i. e.
advertising, social media, eCom, CRM) with different metrics, including awareness, traffic, new customer acquisition, conversion) on a regular basis.
- ** Keep tracking of the digital / eCom / CRM KPIs and advise the business insights for optimization
**What you'll bring**:
- ** 3 - 5 Years of Experience in media and data analytics
- ** Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates.
- ** Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment.
- ** Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement.
- ** Excellent attention to detail.
- ** Strong customer service disposition and sense of professionalism.
- ** Solid understanding of the organisation's business operations and industry.
- ** Demonstrated ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret.
- ** Problem solver, ability to think through campaign delivery and performance issues
- ** General knowledge of various ad industry terminology (CPM, CTR, ROAS, Viewability, DSP, DMP, SSP, etc.
)
- ** Ability to work with large data sets and identify performance trends
- ** Problem-solving nature and deep curiosity to uncover the best solutions to help Colgate reach or exceed key performance indicators (KPI)
- ** Strong Excel skills.
Comfortable with formulas (VLookUp, IF, etc.
), pivot tables, trending charts, and template building
- ** Conduct regular performance analysis and communicate optimization recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders in a clear, cogent fashion
- ** Proven ability to synthesise data and identify trends or extract key findings and turn them into actionable insights
- ** Language: proficiency in English is mandatory, knowledge of Italian and/or Spanish/Greek/Portuguese a plus
**Responsibilities**:
- ** Daily review of campaign performance, development of optimization recommendations, and implementation of performance-improvement tactics
- ** Actively analyse campaigns working with agency and brand teams
