Title: Media and Press Relations Specialist/LeaderRole Profile A role that supports the development of a comprehensive strategy for the company's media and press relations efforts. Builds relationships with key media channels and drives an increase in positive media coverage and brand awareness among the public through effective and targeted media use. Collaborates with the social media team to ensure unified messaging across all channels.
Reports to: Media Relations Director
Media Strategy Implementation Responsibilities:Implement a comprehensive media strategy for the company and lead integrated multimedia campaigns. Keep up to date with emerging media trends and non-traditional media channels and update media and public strategy accordingly. Collaborate with the social media team to present unified messages on all media/social media channels. Coordinate with other functions to ensure consistent messaging to media outlets, on external sites, and on the intranet. Relationship Building and Management Responsibilities:Contribute to the development and fostering of relationships with key media channels to increase positive media coverage. Identify and introduce new media channels to maximize coverage. Serve as the primary point of contact with media, bloggers, and internal editorial teams and respond to media requests. Assist in securing features, stories, and appearances in national, regional, and local media outlets, both printed and web-based. Content Creation Responsibilities:Proactively create and distribute company news via releases, advisories, individual pitches, etc. Use innovative media formats (videos, podcasts, social media, others) to increase media presence. Write local media alerts, editorial placements, web updates, and printed articles. Create and manage an editorial calendar to maximize media coverage and exposure. Help populate and link up the external website. Contribute to social media efforts. Brand Awareness Responsibilities:Effectively and proactively drive and elevate the brand awareness of the company among the public through effective and targeted media use. Work closely with business units to communicate new business initiatives to media and align media strategy with business objectives. Training and Coaching Responsibilities:Support training and coaching activities to leadership. Monitoring, Tracking & Cost Control Responsibilities:Oversee the digital media monitoring system to track and evaluate the company's media presence. Manage media monitoring vendors. Create and control the budget of expenses. Requirements:English (Native/Bilingual)Italian (Wished – Basic)Experience: 3-4 yearsAvailability to travel abroad. Teamwork & promote collaboration. Excellence and drive for results. Location: Milano (The position is located in Milano, not Dalmine)
