- The Medical Advisor provides strategic support for developing the assigned compounds in AAA Pipeline focused on the specific therapeutic area of interest.
- Ensure medical support providing medical expertise to internal and external partners including BU Therapeutics AAA and relevant KOL's on area of interest at the national Level.
- The Medical Advisor will report to the Country Medical Head Italy and will support the execution of local Medical Affair plan ensuring that all activities are in line with the Commercial strategy and therapeutic area objectives.
The Medical Advisor will need to be a credible and valued scientific resource of AAA and will have the responsibility to catch up insights from the major stakeholders in order to provide valuables inputs and critical thinking for the national activities of Med Affair Department AAA.
- This position requires Office and Field based activities subdivided as follow:
**Your key responsibilities**:
Your Field based responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the local territory activities in collaboration with MSL Manager.
- Contribute to the development, attend and present at appropriate meetings (advisory board meetings, investigator meetings, KOL meetings, AAA Meetings).
- To ensure to establish appropriate partnerships with KOL's in areas of scientific interest.
- To ensure a proper mapping, identification, and segmentation, of KOLs in the assigned region, and engaging KOLs with credible, fair balanced, scientific information about AAA products, AAA research activities, and AAA product development initiatives.
- Balanced medical information for HCPs and will be capable of issues management and addressing scientific questions, including queries on safety and off label use of AAA products based on available scientific data.
- Supporting the MSL Manager on the preparation of scientific presentations (Slide Decks) and assist with publications, posters and other scientific communication programs at the national level.
- To ensure the knowledge of the field insights in a compliant manner, including opinion leader insights, site profiling, and competitive intelligence.
Your Office based responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- To ensure correct management of IIT's (clinical studies), phase IV clinical studies in the Italian affiliate ensuring: proper documentation, contracts, oversight, payments, drug shipments, and logistics.
- To ensure full support to GDD and TMO NVS for global studies in collaboration with MSL's manager.
- To ensure correct management of medical publications related to the therapeutic area of interest.
- Support the marketing and Market Access strategy for all AAA products by being a key member on cross-functional teams.
- To ensure all activities of therapeutic area of interest are compliant with internal SOP's and internal flow process
- Be part of a patient solutions team as well as Commercial Business managers sharing.
- Collaboration with the rest of the team in order to increase the visibility and the centricity of Med Affair and create strong collaboration with MKTG, Compliance; Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affair.

- The Medical Advisor in collaboration with the Medical MSL's Manager will be responsible to ensure the execution of the activities of Med Affair ( Ej Scientific Advisory Board, IIT's CST's, Consultancies and Scientific Training) and will represent Medical Affairs at internal and external meetings.

**Minimum requirements
**What you'll bring to the role**:
- Education: MD degree and experience in relevant therapeutic areas.
- Languages: Fluent in English and proficient in site local language (Italian).
- +2 years' experience in clinical medicine and/or research.
- Medical and scientific writing skills.
- Knowledge of assigned therapeutic area with ability to interact with relevant KOLs.
- Familiar with all aspects of drug development and profiling, GCP and local regulations.
- Knowledge of clinical trial design methodology, statistics and pharm
