**The Opportunity**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our company in the Medical Affairs team to drive the medical objectives.
You will report to Medical Director Oncology, and you will join a team of Medical Advisors, MSL managers and MSLs.
As a** **Medical Advisor Oncology Biomarkers/Pipeline **(Associate Director) you will be the medical expert and responsible person for biomarkers and pipeline.
You will use medical knowledge and customer insights to develop the country medical affairs plan and engage in non-promotional peer to peer communication.
You will focus on education, sharing, generating data, and implementing programs that provide the most balanced data to our external stakeholders, scientific leaders, key decision makers and the medical community at large with the patient as the ultimate beneficiary.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with local GCTO (Global Clinical Trial Organization) management and investigators to identify opportunities to implement new clinical studies in early phases when pipeline molecules are involved;
- Medical support, supervision of scientific biomarker/pipeline symposia and own lectures on proprietary pipeline in oncology;
- Conception, organization and execution of national advisory boards, support for local workshops, symposia and training courses in oncology;
- Support medical content for health technology assessments and value dossiers in pan-tumor approval procedures and close cross-functional collaboration with in-house departments;
- Preparation of product-specific medical and scientific information and documents;
- Preparation and implementation of the Country Medical Affairs Plan (CMAP);
- Insights collection on pipeline and biomarkers
Your Profile:
- MD, PharmD or PhD in Life Sciences is mandatory;
- Deep knowledge in the field of (immuno)oncology, previous preclinical experience is a plus;
- Professional experience within medical/scientific affairs or clinical research with good knowledge of pipeline development processes;
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry and understanding of study designs (especially early phases) and/or publications in the medical/scientific field is desirable;
- Knowledge of relevant external and internal regulations;
- Strong customer facing and listening skills;
- Able to simultaneously handle multiple tasks and working under pressure;
- Strong, confident and engaging presentation and communication skills;
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Italian and English are required as well.
