Medical Affairs Advisor, Italy
As a Medical Affairs Advisor at Kedrion, you will be the medical expert and accountable person for the entire product portfolio, including both marketed products and innovative products in the launch stage.
This is a critical position within the organization, responsible for providing medical, scientific, and strategic expertise to support Italy's development and medical programs. You will serve as a reliable bridge between clinical research, market access, marketing, sales, and the overall organization, building strong relationships and collaboration with external and internal stakeholders. Moreover, as a Medical Advisor at Kedrion, you will establish and develop relationships with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), engaging in high-level scientific and medical non-promotional exchanges in the therapeutic field. You are expected to think creatively, seize opportunities, take strategic risks, and be adaptable and flexible.

You will be a role model in developing trust, listening deeply, collaborating effectively, unifying people, applying ethics in your work, and communicating transparently to foster strong relationships within the team and across the organization. Activities:Leverage in-depth scientific knowledge, clinical expertise, and a professional position within the medical community to cultivate and integrate substantive relationships with KOLs, clinicians, academic institutions, professional organizations, and patient advocacy groups, providing education on the safe and effective use of Kedrion products and disease state information. Contribute to defining and executing the Medical Plans in the assigned geography in compliance with the assigned budget. Manage critical relationships with KOLs and other customers through the compliant exchange of complex scientific information related to areas of research and product development. Identify, cultivate, and integrate relationships with KOLs within the specific therapeutic area to foster scientific growth and medical evidence for the support and/or expansion of current therapies. Execute stakeholder engagement plans to gather data, develop, and share medical insights that contribute to the enhancement of Kedrion products and therapeutic areas. Recognize, record, and share insights that deepen our understanding of the needs of patients, consumers, regulators, payers, and healthcare providers. Provide expert disease-state and product education in response to specific HCP inquiries. Understand and balance clinical objectives with business priorities to create a positive impact on product utilization and growth. Maintain comprehensive medical-scientific knowledge of specific therapeutic areas through literature surveillance and participation in scientific meetings. Contribute to defining the Medical Plans in collaboration with the Medical Affairs lead and Therapeutic Area lead. Interpret and develop timely responses to internal and external requests for medical-scientific information. Collaborate and provide medical and scientific perspective during cross-functional brand-planning strategy meetings. Coordinate and conduct professional education and expert product training to external and internal audiences. Contribute an expert clinical perspective on the identification and integration of participants in the Speaker's Bureau and Advisory Boards. Provide internal stakeholders with a scientific foundation and expert medical-scientific resource to optimize their performance. Partner with cross-functional teams to share accurate and updated medical-scientific information. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, biology, or other scientific degrees. At least 3 years of experience as an MSL and 1-2 years as a Medical Advisor. Experience in hematology, gastroenterology, or internal medicine. Strong scientific baseline knowledge in the assigned therapeutic area. Excellent communication skills across various internal and external audiences. Fluency in English and computer literacy. Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and external partners. Location: Remote #J-18808-Ljbffr
