OpportunityI'm currently looking for Medical Affairs Director for an international company specialized within the pharmaceutical Industry. The company is a research-driven, specialty biopharmaceutical group active in global markets. The Medical Affairs Director will be responsible for leading a team of Medial Advisors and MSLs that steers the medical communication to key opinion leader and customers, thus leveraging the spread of knowledge and reputation of the Company and its products within the Italian Market, laying the foundation of business achievements for the assigned therapeutic areas/products.

Responsibilities Establish Area Medical Marketing strategy in alignment with global strategy but customized to the area.

Identify and share best medical practice across the area taking advantage of synergies and reducing inefficiencies.

Identity and communicate value of the Company´s products from a scientific foundation respecting all relevant external compliance regulations, interacting with relevant internal and external key stakeholders. Medicalmarketing material/compliance across all therapy areas.

Encourage and facilitate cross country interactions of KOL (eg best practice sharing through clinic visits) Check area marketing campaigns in alignment with global strategy but customized to areaProvide area input into training needs Develop and implement Communication strategy Collect needs to support product value from area countries in terms of clinical trials:

Phase IV, non-interventional trials, retrospective trials and coordinate their feedback Initiate and manage medical task force devoted to area clinical trials Liase with R&D IPC and GMA on SOPs, protocols, CRF writing and other documents and define budget and operational logistics Management of the medical budget including the follow upSkills Medical degreeBroad knowledge of general medicineAt least 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including medical marketing and experience with KOL interactions.
