**_About the intership_

We are looking for a Medical Science Intern to support our Cardio Renal Metabolic franchise within the Medical Affairs department.

Based in Milan, this internship offers a structured learning experience within a leading global pharmaceutical company, providing the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop expertise in medical strategies, clinical projects, and regulatory frameworks.

Internship Goals & Activities_

Support to medical affairs activities and projects, under the Medical Manager's guidance and other research projects that are consistent with Novartis product development strategy.

The objectives of the intern period include involvement in all cross-functional activities and related communication and reporting for those projects.

The intern will be involved and will support, through a continuous learning process, the following activities:

- Support the Renal Disease Medical Team in the launch of a new portfolio by collaborating with all related functions such as Field Medical team, Regulatory, Marketing and Market Access.

- Contribute to Medical Affairs projects creation and implementation according to Novartis standard operating procedures (SOPs) and local regulations and policies.

- Provide assistance for internal scientific updates and literature research on therapeutic area, products and competitors according to local medical strategies and contribute to develop related materials.

- Assist the local team in designing local clinical studies, medical events and educational materials.

- Gain knowledge on medical affairs driven activities and strategies in the cross functional team.

**Requisiti**:

- Master's degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related fields

- Clinical trials background and scientific wording

- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

- Fluent in English (B2+/C1 or higher)
