Pfizer is hiring a Talented Medical Affairs Scientist (MD) - Onco GU for the Oncology Business Unit - Site of Rome.
Why Patients Need You- Oncology Business Unit is scientific driven with the goal of developing products that can help patients with cancer- The role will be responsible for Medical Affairs activities Genito-Urinary cancer in Italy
Key Experience Offer of this Role-
- Leading the conversation to positively influence the external environment and help the patients with cancer- Developing local medical strategy
Primary Responsibilities- Maintaining the highest scientific standards during in/external activities to provide deep medical and scientific expertise- Establish deep and enduring peer-to-peer scientific relationships with leading healthcare professionals- Contribute to the implementation of local medical strategies and life cycle clinical plans for inline and pipeline medicines- Ensure safe, proper, and effective uses of assigned products, contributing to patients (and populations) health and well-being- Establish a strong collaborative scientific relationship with relevant stakeholders in the assigned area (KOLs, medical societies, and other relevant internal/external stakeholders)- Observe compliance rules, ensuring activities and communications are conducted in compliance with all policies, guidelines, and regulation and ensure the respect of medical independence
What You Offer
Basic Qualifications- Medical Degree- Specialization in Oncology or at least 4 years' experience in Oncology- Medical/pharmaceutical expert knowledge of the therapeutic disease area- Able to understand written and spoken English in assigned therapeutic disease area, and scientific interactions- Adherence to Pfizer Values: Courage, Excellence, Equity and Joy
Preferred Qualifications- Clinical experience in Oncology- Research experience
