Job Description:We're looking for a medical affairs specialist for our diagnostics department to help us boost the company to the next level.

As an expert professional in your area, you provide scientific and technical support internally and transmit it effectively to customers and KOLs.

In this role you will:Manage the scientific approach of Sysmex Diagnostic products in coordination with Business Line Managers (BLMs) and Marketing Manager (MM), with the aim of satisfying the needs of the customer better than the competition and with optimal profitability, in accordance with the policies and objectives of the company.

Plan, implement, and finalize the execution of clinical studies together with customers, to generate clinical value of Diagnostics products useful for marketing purposes.

Internal analysis and review of clinical evidence and clinical guidelines relevant for Diagnostics business unit, and transformation of this information into a useful format for both sales team and customers.

Stay up to date with the latest clinical guidelines and scientific evidence related to Diagnostics.

Maintain customer contact in collaboration with BLMs and Field Sales Representatives (FSRs).

Support BLMs in scientific promotional activities like congresses and publicity.

Provide support to the sales network in scientific sessions and clinical studies.

Communicate with BLM and MM.

Be the maximum specialist in the scientific area, serving as the reference person for it.

Deliver credible presentations on scientific matters to physicians, individually or in groups (clinical sessions, congresses).

Produce and update scientific presentations based on new clinical evidence for internal and external use.

Provide field support to the sales force and application specialists on clinical inquiries.

Plan internal studies with MM and BLM aligned with the Diagnostics strategy.

Elaborate protocols according to meetings with investigators.

Support investigators on IRB/IEC procedures (protocol, contracts, kick-off, letters, etc. ).

Monitor recruitment and data collection (database, queries, status newsletters, etc. ).

Lead the transformation from data to a published scientific paper in a journal, serving as the reference person for Statisticians/Medical Writers, and customers/investigators.

Monitor and support investigators on the submission process.

Job requirements:Bachelor's and/or master's degree in science (biology, biomedicine or similar).

Master's degree in clinical studies.

Informatics: MS Office, Excel, database, CRM.

Languages: fluent Italian and English.

General professional experience: Technical knowledge of products/IVD Industry.

Professional experience for the position: Minimum 1 year in medical department, ideally 2+ years in a similar position (Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaison, Clinical Research Associate or similar).
