Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Director for Collier County's Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Division.

This role is responsible for providing professional medical oversight and direction to ensure compliance with Florida Statutes and Department of Health regulations.

Requirements of the Medical Director:Licensure: Active Florida Medical LicenseMust be board certified in emergency medicine. ACLS certification is required. Demonstrated experience in pre-hospital care and participation in regional or statewide physician groups involved in emergency medical services. Must have a strong background in emergency medicine, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with EMS personnel and other stakeholders. Schedule of the Medical Director:This is a part-time position. Starting date - April 1, 2025 – March 31, 2027. Benefits of the Medical Director:The salary for this position is $170/hr. Responsibilities of the Medical Director:Medical Oversight: Supervise paramedics and EMTs, ensuring adherence to medical protocols and standards. Protocol Development: Create and manage standing orders and protocols for life support procedures. Quality Assurance: Establish a quality assurance committee to review patient care records and ensure compliance with state regulations. Training and Education: Participate in continuing education and field evaluations to maintain expertise in pre-hospital care. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with Florida Statutes regarding medication handling and report any disciplinary concerns to the Department of Health.
